Terms and Conditions


1. 50% Deposit Required upon ordering. A further 25% Before Fitting. 25% Balance of payment on installation. Payment in full is required upfront for supply-only orders. (Unless prior arrangements have been made) If a customer is unable to comply with the payment structure, full payment must be made upfront to secure the order.


2. All goods remain the property of CBI Blinds until the account is paid in full.


3. In the event of non-payment by purchaser named overleaf, the purchaser will be liable for all legal costs incurred by CBI Blinds in recovering the debt.


4. This contract, between CBI Blinds and the purchaser named overleaf, cannot be cancelled or transferred.


5. Supply date given is approximate, CBI Blinds will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances out of our control.


6. Purchaser must accept installation of blinds within 3 working days after contacted by CBI Blinds or our installer. (Or by special agreement by management) Failure to accept installation within this timeframe may impact the warranty period. Furniture, plants, trees etc. That may interfere with installation – must be moved or removed by purchaser.


7. Our products are made “Square” and no responsibility accepted when window(s) are out of “Square”.


8. Faulty components will be repaired or replaced at CBI discretion after inspection.


9. All products are manufactured to industry standards, no responsibility accepted for damage caused by misuse or accidents. A service fee of $80 will be charged.


10. A) Fabric colours may vary slightly between batches. B) Colour consistency with timber venetians is not guaranteed. D) Some time lapse may be required after installation for possible wrinkles to disappear. (Canvas will shrink and stretch).


11. Purchaser is responsible for advising CBI Blinds or our installer regarding locations of water pipes, electrical cables etc.


12. Extra cost to customer for removal of old blinds, curtains etc. From windows, which does not include removal from premises.


Warranty


A 1-year warranty applies to the following products.


• Rollers • Curtains • Curtain Tracks • Romans • Panel Glides • Verticals • Aluminium Venetians • Timber Venetians •

Honeycells • Awnings • Zipscreen® • Veri Shades® Easi


A 3-year warranty on Timber Shutters from the date of purchase and


A 10-year warranty on PVC Shutters from the date of purchase.


COVERAGE UNDER WARRANTY: CBI's warranty covers the following aspects, provided the Product is used and maintained in accordance with industry guidelines and recommended instructions: • Material and Workmanship: CBI warrants that all its Products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal wear and tear. • Functionality: The Products are guaranteed to function as intended under normal use and conditions. • Manufacturing Defects: CBI will rectify or replace any Products found to have manufacturing defects during the warranty period. • Compliance within Specifcations: Products ordered within normal size specifcations or price grids are covered under this warranty.


EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY:  For Rollers, Curtains, Curtain Tracks, Romans, Panel Glides, Verticals, Aluminium Venetians, Timber Venetians, Honeycells, Awnings, Zipscreen® and Veri Shades® CBI will not provide warranty coverage for Products that fall under the following conditions: • Ordered outside normal specifcations or price grids. • Nominal wear and tear. • Defects caused by misuse, abuse, and alterations not carried out by CBI. • Maintenance and care not in accordance with recommended instructions. • Incorrect adjustment, calibration, operation or installation. • Accidents, alterations, or modifcations made to the Product. • Exposure to excessive moisture or water damage. • Misuse of the Products. • No claims for damage will be accepted 21 days from the delivery of

Products.


Blinds under warranty are eligible for service calls; however, if the issue is determined to be due to customer error, a service fee of $50 may apply. Out of warranty fees are $80 to $100 depending on location or urgency.


Any parts over $10 to be charged extra


No warranty on plastic blinds.


Motors and Remotes


-  Warranties only apply if authorised CBI electrician is used.

- If a motor or a remote must be reset after installation, a minimum of $80 call out fee will be required


Disclaimer


The measurements provided in this building plan for the installation of blinds are approximate and intended for general guidance only. It is the responsibility of the client to verify all measurements prior to placing an order for blinds.


The supplier/installer shall not be held liable for any discrepancies or inaccuracies resulting from the measurements indicated in this plan. Any modifications to the building structure, such as changes to window sizes, frames, or architectural features, may affect the suitability and ft. of the blinds.


It is recommended that a professional measurement be conducted on-site before finalizing orders, as the installation process may require precise dimensions to ensure proper fitting and functionality.


By proceeding with the order based on the measurements provided in this plan, the client acknowledges and accepts these terms.
